Stopped by Little Collins for a quick lunch. The space is tight and a bit dim, with small tables and not-so-comfy chairs, but the atmosphere is lively. Despite the crowd (and my folding bike), the staff seated me quickly and were efficient and helpful throughout. I had the salmon egg noodles—salmon was nicely cooked, though the noodles were a bit too sweet. The pour-over coffee came in a small French press—floral but slightly over-extracted. Food came out fast, and no one rushed me even after I lingered with my laptop. Not the coziest spot, the food also didn’t fully live up to the hype, but I might come back to try other items.

Little Collins is a must-visit for brunch in NYC! The cafe has such a cute and charming atmosphere, and the staff are some of the friendliest you'll meet. Our food was delicious, and I especially loved my Shakshuka—it was packed with flavor. Great food, great people, and a great vibe. What more could you ask for?

This place has such a nice vibe. Service is great and food is delicious! We had the breakfast salad and granola. Both dishes were well balanced. First time having fresh chili slices in my salad, gave it a nice kick. And the granola dish is the perfect combination of yogurt with crunchy granola, candied peach and something sweet (i think it is something toasted in maple syrup). To top it all off, flat white was smooth. We really enjoyed our brunch.

Breakfast, Day 2 We stopped at Little Collins because it was perfectly located on our route to our next sightseeing stop—and it did not disappoint! I’m still dreaming about The Smash—a delicious combo of avocado and feta on multigrain toast, topped with pepitas, mint, and chili flakes. Absolute perfection. Pro tip: get there right when they open. We arrived at opening time, and within 30 minutes, the place was packed.

Little Collins delivered exactly the kind of breakfast I was craving. The yogurt granola wasn’t your average parfait—it came layered with tangy labneh, poached peach, and their house-made tahini granola that added the perfect crunch and nutty depth. Beautiful balance of flavors. The flat white was a smooth medium roast with rich chocolate notes, served with a little biscuit that made the whole experience feel just a bit more special. We also tried the Shishito eggs, served over crisp toast—simple, flavorful, and done right. The vibe is bustling, like a modern diner for coffee lovers and foodies on the move. The energy is high but the staff keeps things flowing with ease. A fast-paced, feel-good stop that still manages to feel intentional and warm.

A must go for breakfast in the mid manhattan area. Phenomenal espresso and hand squeezed OJ. Breakfast menu is small and everything we had was fantastic. As normal extremely tight sitting quarters and very busy. Would love to go again!

We loved Little Collins, 10/10. My husband and I ate here 5 mornings while visiting New York. The queue moves very quickly (15min wait) so don’t let that put you off eating here. The earlier you get here, the better…we were here before 10am each morning. Recommend: eggs benny+bacon, scrambled eggs+salmon, spicy sausage. Found the staff here very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for brilliant breakfasts while we were on holiday :)
